Before too much time passes by, I’d like to express my heartfelt thanks to our customers who took time out of their busy schedules to attend this month’s user conference. Attendance was up over previous years, and we saw representation from a wider selection of companies, including Adams Thermal, CareFusion, Dixie Electric, Emerson, Exemplis, Genentech, Magellan, SonoSite, Specialized, Trane/IR, and Zurn.
This broad selection of manufacturing experience fostered some excellent interaction and knowledge sharing, both of Ultriva expertise and best practices from some true experts in supply-chain optimization.
For those of you who could not attend, here’s a brief overview of what we discussed — I’m hoping reading this will make you want to attend next year’s event.
Best practices
- Enabling collaboration within a manufacturing center
- Driving service levels through production streamlining and inventory availability
- Identifying points of consumption
- “Stump the expert” Q&A with our technical team
Product updates
- Preview of Ultriva 7.8
- NetSuite integration with Ultriva
- Discussion of Ultriva support, help and webinars
Customer presentations
- Automation and production control — Adams Thermal
- Managing medical device production — Care Fusion
If you’d like a copy of any of the presentations, please email Cindy McGowan.
I wish you a productive second half of 2015, and look forward to seeing you here in California next year — pencil it in for May 11-12, 2016.
